The northern part of India is undoubtedly the best destination for food lovers across the country. The food habit of Punjabis does not need any introduction. The Makki di Roti and the ghee dripping Sarson ka Saag are always a delight to have any time. And then followed by them is the irresistible Namkeen Lassi, which would make you yearn for more and more till you drop to the floor. The great food traditions of Punjab and Haryana are almost similar in nature and will give you great satisfaction and a fulfilling experience in every possible way.


Food recipes popular in the hilly areas including Himachal Pradesh and Uttranchal are also very delicious and rich with nutrition. One of the most common of them is the Dal Makhni cooked in an open mouthed pot on slow heat.
