Day 1: Abroad / Mumbai
On the 1st day of your tour, you will arrive
at Mumbai International airport. On arrival,
the guest will be met by our representative
and transferred to hotel. Overnight stay
will be at the hotel.
Day 2: Mumbai
On the 2nd day of your tour, after breakfast,
you will go for a one hour boat ride across
Mumbai Harbor, which will take you to the
lush green Elephanta Island. Here, you will
visit some of the huge and intricately carved
Elephanta Caves that date back to the 8th
century. In the afternoon, you will go on
a city tour of Mumbai.
Day 3: Mumbai - Cochin - Periyar
On the 3rd day of your tour, after breakfast,
you will transfer to the airport to catch
a connecting flight to Cochin. Upon arrival,
at Cochin, after meeting our representative,
you will transfer to the hotel for lunch.
After lunch, you will drive to Periyar (190
Kms). Upon arrival at Periyar, you will
check into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4: Periyar - Kumarakom
On the 4th day of your tour, after breakfast,
you will proceed for an early morning boat
cruise on the lake of the famous Periyar
Sanctuary to view wild life. Thereafter
drive through the winding "Ghats"
lined with prosperous tea plantations &
then arrive the fascinating countryside
of low-lying palms and paddy fields to Kumarakom
(190 Kms) en route visit the tea estates.
Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 5: Kumarakom - Houseboat
On the 5th day of your tour, after breakfast,
you will take a cruise on the backwaters
in traditional country canoes called "vanjis"
to see the agricultural activities of the
local people living on the back waters.
Also visit the beautiful bird sanctuary.
Lunch will be at the hotel. In the afternoon,
you will also board the traditional rice
boats. Overnight will be on board the houseboat.
Day 6: Houseboat - Marari
On the 6th day of your tour, after breakfast,
you will have breakfast on board. Thereafter,
you will sail to Alleppey & disembark
at Puthenagady Jetty. On arrival, you will
proceed directly to Mararikulam (30 Kms).
Overnight stay will be at a hotel here.
Day 7: Marari
This day will be free to spend at leisure
for own activities and enjoy the facilities
of the Resort. Overnight stay will be at
hotel.
Day 8: Marari - Cochin
On the 8th day of your tour, after breakfast,
you will drive to Cochin (60 Kms) Arrive
Cochin & check into hotel. In the Afternoon,
you will take a tour of the city of Cochin,
visiting the Harbor cruise.
Day 9: Cochin - Mumbai
On the 9th day of your tour, after breakfast,
you will transfer from hotel to the airport
for flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival at Mumbai,
you will be transferred to the hotel.
Day 10: Abroad - Mumbai
Leave Bombay for onward destination.
